I am so excited to start sharing more about my Health & Wellness journey!!

Let me preface this by saying Thank You! Thank You to each and every one of you who has commented, DM'd and reached out with your kind words and compliments. It's MIND blowing how much you have noticed regarding my Fitness via Instagram, Youtube as well as in person over the last year.

The questions came and keep on coming..


“How!?”
“What are you doing/eating?"
“You are glowing! What are you doing differently?”
“Something has changed with you.. I mean that in the most positive way”
“You look so fit!”
etc, etc.

Today, I'm spilling the tea.

I've always had a passion for both Health & Wellness, and helping women achieve their goals.

After hitting rock bottom 3x in a single year over Life, I chose to make a change.. for my physical and mental health. 

I choose not to continue to GO through life but to GROW through life. It took a lot of pain, healing, and hard work.

Without going into all of the details, here's what happened in a nutshell:

​

-My daughter broke her leg, and we didn't know if she would ever walk again.

-I was betrayed by a very close friend, & it made me question all of my relationships. While I've come to realize who is true and who is not.. this took me MONTHS to heal from.

-I have two very close family members going through 4 different (HUGE) life changes, and diagnosis (all happening at once)

 

My mental & overall health suffered, and it started showing in mysterious ways (see photos of my inflammation & eczema)

Some of this is contact dermatitis, but stress definitely attributed to it

I decided something needed to change, and took ownership over my health.

 

To help with my mental health, I started going to a dance class / working out on average 3 days / week. I was fasting 5 days / week (12-16 hour fasts), and went gluten and mostly dairy free. I did this for 7 months and slowly started dropping weight, without really realizing it, as that was not actually my focus. My only focus was healing, both internally and externally.

 

Fast forward to our Mexico Trip (February 2024), I was at my lowest weight I've been since pre-highschool (125 lbs)!

Fun Fact: People were complimenting me on my weight A LOT, and I hadn't looked at at a scale in years because ours was broken and I try really hard to never focus on the # on the scale. I started to get curious, and I weighed myself at a clients house. Now, my weight has always fluctuated about 3-5 lbs, and I started at 145-149.

 

Losing 20+ lbs was a huge mood booster, for sure, but again, the number on the scale isn't what matters to me. I truly felt at peace with everything that had happened, over the last year. I felt like I had lost myself and had finally found my confidence again

After coming back from Mexico I gained 10 lbs and was crushed, but not very surprised. (I had a lot of pina coladas - YOLO)! This is when Aaron & I started doing a “Carnivore” Diet. He had done extensive research on it, and read tons of testimonials about how it helped cure leaky gut, eczema, and all kinds of auto-immune disease.

 

This is a high-fat / protein diet with ZERO CARBS/SUGAR. It ain't for the faint of heart, but boy does it yield MASSIVE results. I dropped 11 lbs in less than a week, but was miserable. The sugar withdrawals were REAL. I powered through for about 2.5 weeks, and started to feel really good. However after 2.5 weeks, my eczema wasn't clearing up. (Which in the carnivore diets defence, 2 weeks is not long enough, but my patience was thin due to how bad it was. I wanted immediate results).

 

I decided full blown Carnivore wasn't for me long term, and switched to KETO-Carnivore, allowing myself 10-20g of carbs / day. I tracked them using the “Carb Manager” app - highly recommend, and was still focusing on eating a high fat/low carb / zero sugar diet, and continuing to work out 3x /week, and moving my body daily. It's been 2 months now, and I'm staying the same weight (about 125 lbs). My eczema isn't FULLY gone, but it has gotten so much better. More importantly, I feel incredible. At Easter, I cheated and had some sugar and more carbs and felt awful. After eating no sugar / carbs for so long, you start to realize how awful you feel when you reintroduce it.

Now that my weight is at an all-time low and sustainable, my goal is to build more muscle and tone up, and I want to help other moms and homemakers achieve their Health & Fitness goals too.. which is why I joined BODi.

 

It's an online at-home workout program that is SO good! I've used the platform on and off for about 4 years, and finally joined as a coach. I am on this journey with you!
